Summer seems to run its extent faster with each passing year and this season was no exception. However, with the exception of September's arrival, golf is considered a primary activity for the LLGA and will bring out the absentee golfers, especially the members who seem to keep aloof from the sweltering heat of the summer. With September in our midst, many tournaments including the Labor Day event and weekly play throughout the month can still be relished and it is never too late to consult John on the discrepancies that have distorted our golfing skills. |

*Reminder - The LLGA members should be in the ladies locker room and signed in by 8:30am for weekly play. Also, the LLGA Championship tournament is scheduled for October 7 and the Fall Fling will be October 21. |

*No other striking news at this time. Thought for the month - "Golf is the only game that pits the player against an opponent, weather, theminutest details of a large chunk of local topography and their own nervous systems all at the same time. |
