*I would like to wish all of our members a wonderful 2007 and thank you for your participation and support in 2006. Ending the year right, Billy Price carded an even par 36 on the back-9 of Lakewood while playing with Gene Anspach. Jerry Jones had a dream week when he birdied #18 four days in a row including two chip-ins! John McCord had one of the best rounds in December when he made 7 birdies en route to a 68 while playing the black tees. |

*Our new Professional Golf Management intern Phillip Zeringue will be reporting for duty on Thursday, February 1st. Phillip is a senior at Mississippi State University and Lakewood will be his final internship before graduation. |

*Make plans to stop by the golf shop this January to check out the annual winter clearance sale. Already low prices will be marked way down to make room for new merchandise this spring. Please let me know of any product suggestions that you would like to see in the golf shop. I will be attending the 2007 PGA Merchandise show with Phillip in late January where we will be purchasing new products for the golf shop. |
